Okimono
In the Netherlands - built without handing the brand's identity to a faceless vendor, and without a contract trap.
Where they started
Okimono is a design-led Dutch T-shirt brand. Design is the product - so Gerrit Weeren wanted growth without handing the brand's identity to a faceless vendor. And he refused to get trapped in a contract to get it.
That ruled out most of the market. Big shops assign you a junior and lock you in for a year. Gerrit wanted the opposite: senior people, direct access, and the freedom to walk.
"What stood out for me was it was a small team but still a team. I like to talk to the owner and not to some beginner."

How the work runs
The work started the way every engagement does now: diagnose first, then scale what the numbers support.
The commercial terms match the working style. No hidden fees. No long lock-in. A contract written so the client can read it, understand it, and leave it. That structure keeps the pressure where it belongs - on the results, month after month.
"There is not a lot of what you can lose because there are no hidden fees. The contract is very clear and very open. If it's not working you can get out at any moment."

What happened
- #1 T-shirt brand in the Netherlands - the top of its category in its home market
- A clear, open month-to-month partnership - "you can get out at any moment," in Gerrit's words
- Direct access to the founder, not a junior - the person who diagnoses the account is the person who runs it
